MWW Group

MWW Group is a public relations and marketing firm based in East Rutherford, New Jersey. In 2006, it was the recipient of the Silver Anvil Award sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America. It also won Bronze Anvils for its work with Amazon.com and the Christopher Reeve Foundation. The work for Amazon.com was specifically related to the launch of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. MWW Group has been the agency of record for Keep a Child Alive. In July 2010, MWW Group worked with Volkswagen of America to launch the 2011 Volkswagen Jetta. In 2011, it was ranked the seventh largest independent PR firm in the United States by the J.R. O'Dwyer Company.
MWW Group has launched a sustainable technologies practice. Through partnerships with Scottish Development International, MWW Group supports a number of green technology companies of the United Kingdom. MWW Group is also the representative of the Office of Clean Energy at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
MWW Group recently bought itself back from Intergroup, which had purchased the independent firm approximately in October of 2000. The new majority shareholder will be Michael W. Kempner, who founded MWW Group in 1986. Kempner has been company president and chief executive; he will now also be titled chairman.
