MotionX

MotionX is a software brand created by Fullpower Technologies, Inc. and known for its popular navigation applications for the Apple iPhone and iPad devices.
Launch
At the opening of the Apple App Store in July 2008, MotionX drew attention for the realistic dice applications that simulated the rolling of three dimensional dice with high precision.
Navigation Solutions
The MotionX Apple iOS GPS Applications include:
* MotionX-GPS application for the iPhone, an outdoor sports and navigation GPS solution launched in October 2008.
* MotionX-GPS Drive for the iPhone, a door-to-door pedestrian and driving navigation application launched in September 2009 and the most downloaded paid-for iPhone Navigation application as of January 2011.
* MotionX-GPS HD and MotionX-GPS Drive HD, MotionX's Navigation solutions for the iPad, launched in May 2010.
* On September 7, 2010, Nike released the GPS App that tracks human motion using the accelerometer and GPS sensors of the iPhone and the accelerometer of the iPod Touch (which does not currently contain a GPS chip). The application was selected as one of the Wall Street Journal's ten best iPhone Apps of the year. MotionX provides the underlying motion sensing technology for the GPS Application.
Automobile Integration
At the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show, JVC and Pioneer Corporation announced new car stereo systems that integrate with the MotionX-GPS Drive application so that driving directions are shown on the in-car screen and audio verbal directions are heard over the car speakers. While automobile stereo systems have integrated audio from the iPhone for several years, this marks the first time that an iPhone navigation application has used the in-car screen as a display.
