Moses Inwang

Moses Inwang is a Nigerian film director, editor, screenwriter, producer, and business magnate.
Career
Early career
Moses Inwang, popularly known as Sneeze, was born in the city of Lagos and his career has spanned over a decade and half and covered a number of themes and genres. His first credit was in 1998, co-producing the film Two Good Men, after the film. Following this film Inwang left for film school and returned in 2004 with his own production a film entitled Save My Soul.
Freelance directing
Following this Inwang decided to focus on freelance directing for various production companies. This move gave birth to a list of blockbuster films like Private Eyes (2005), A Desperate Romance (2006), Between Two Worlds (2007), Chase (2007), Cash Money (2008), and Private Enemy which was produced, directed and written by Inwang through his production company Sneeze Films in 2010.
Social commentary
He also made films that addressed humanistic and socially relevant issues such as Lost Maiden (2008), a film that sheds light on the issue of female circumcision which was endorsed by the UN. Save Our Souls (2009) was a film that discussed the issue of cancer. In Damage (2011), Inwang co-produced and directed a film that addressing the issue of domestic violence, winning multiple awards and nominations worldwide.
2013-Present day
Inwang released Torn in 2013 to cinemas nationwide to major box office success. The film was the first psychological thriller to be released in Nollywood and garnered much critical acclaim. Despite being one of the youngest directors in Nollywood, Inwang has considerable popularity and is an influential filmmaker in Nigeria. Inwang won the City People Award for best director, and in 2012 Damage won best film at The African Oscars Awards in Florida. Torn received many awards and nominations, with nine nominations at the GIAMA awards in Houston, six at the Best of Hollywood Awards, and also double Best Director award nominations at the Nollywood Movies Awards in 2014. Inwang received critical acclaim in 2015 as a director and as a writer for his film The Last Three Digits, which also won Best International Film at The People's Film Festival New York. His latest film, Stalker, won three awards at the GIAMA Awards 2015.
