Morning Augment

Morning Augment is a hardcore/metal band from Louisville, Kentucky.

Background
Morning Augment was originally formed by Tim Jennette and a close friend on drums in 2003 under the name "All But Flawless". As the music progressed, the duo decided to incorporate other members to flesh out the band. In the search for additional members, Tim recruited his brother, Brian Jennette (former bass player for the Louisville band Union), to play bass. After a few weeks Brian switched to guitar when Chris Bensing joined and took over the duties of playing bass.

After auditioning a few vocalists, Matt Robear was asked to dedicate his talents to the band. Matt's past musical contributions included playing drums for the bands SNOiT and Truce. Louisville is known for it's lack of drummers and All But Flawless was no exception to this. The band suffered several setbacks with drummers leaving due to personal commitments, school or work schedules. Near the breaking point of frustration, the band began placing ads and flyers for a permanent drummer. On the same day they saw an ad for a drummer that was looking for a band. While he was much younger then any of the other members, they gave him a shot and after the first night of practice, they knew he was gold. Greg Claycomb was asked to join after only a week and has been a dedicated and vital part of the band ever since. With the multiple member changes and final lineup being constructed, the band felt it was necessary to change the name.

The band started playing shows in late 2006 and since has shared the stage with some amazing national acts and local talent. Recording of their first EP, titled "Destroying What Was Once Beautiful", was finished early 2007 and will be released Dec 21st, 2007.

What started out as a small project that underwent several incarnations and trials by fire has emerged into the Louisville hardcore scene as Morning Augment.
