Mohammed AbuBakr Abdullah Badhib

Mohammed Abubakr Abdullah Badhib (; born in 1976, known with his honorific of Sheikh, is an Islamic Scholar from Hadramout, Yemen.
Background
Badhib was born in Shibam, Hadramout, Yemen. He is descent of Abu Bakr, the first Caliph of Islam. He has lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, since 1987.
Education
Badhib gained his secondary school education in Jeddah. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sharia and Law at the College of Sharia and Law, Al-Ahqaf University, Hadramout, Yemen. Later he earned his Master of Arts in Sharia at the Faculty of Sharia, Islamic University of Beirut in Lebanon. He received his PhD from the School of Theology, Aligarh Muslim University, India. He Study from scholars of religion, in Jeddah, Trim, Mecca, Medina, Syria, and India.
Career
He has received authority to teach and issue edicts from Islamic scholars including Ahmad Haddad, Habib mark Hamed bin Alawi bin Tahir al-Haddad, AbdulFattah, Abdul Aziz Ghumari, Abolhassan-Nadawi, Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki, and others.
He has been Khatib (Preacher) and Imam of the Shibam Mosque in Hadramout and Khatib of the Assalah Mosque in Jeddah. He has delivered lectures and speeches in a number of countries, including Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon,Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Malaysia.
Professional Life
He has held various posts, is the editor of The Encyclopedia of Mecca and Medina, and the author of (or contributor to) many other works.
