MMA Live 1

MMA Live 1 was the first of three live events in Ontario, under the name MMA Live. It took place at the John Labbatt Centre in London, Ontario on May 19, 2011.
Background
On January 28, 2011, it was announced by the Jones Entertainment Group that they will be having three live events in Ontario, with the first one taking place at the John Labbatt Centre in London, Ontario.
Former UFC Welterweight Champion, Carlos Newton was expected to headline this event. Also twins, Joel and Joshua Powell, were expected to fight at this event. However, none of those fighters ended up fighting.
UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones showed up as a special guest.

*Welterweight bout: Karo Parisyan vs. Ryan Ford
:Ford defeated Parisyan via TKO (doctor's stoppage) at 1:26 of round 3.
*Lightweight bout: Matt MacGrath vs. Marcus Aurelio
:Aurelio defeated McGrath via submission (armbar) at 3:39 of round 1.
*Lightweight bout: Derek Boyle vs. Jason Saggo
:Saggo defeated Boyle via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:18 of round 3.
*Featherweight bout: Chuck Mady vs. James Haourt
:Mady defeated Haourt via submission (armbar) at 2:22 of round 1.
*Lightweight bout: Theo Toney vs. Alan Wilson
:Wilson defeated Toney via submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:25 of round 2.
*Bantamweight bout: Brent Franczuz vs. David Harris
:Harris defeated Francruz via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
*Featherweight bout: Daniel Langbeen vs. Lyndon Whitlock
:Whitlock defeated Langbeen vis submission (triangle-choke) in round 1.
MMA Live 2 & 3
MMA Live 2 is expected to take place in Sudbury, Ontario on July 2.
MMA Live 3 is expected to come back to London on October 20.
