Mithila Farzana is a Bangladeshi television journalist and news anchor. Currently, she is working in Ekattor TV as the Current Affairs Editor. She is the moderator for one of the top most popular news shows of the country ‘Ekattor Journal’. Career Mithila Farzana started her career in Bangladesh's first terrestrial television Ekushey Television (ETV) in 1999 as a news presenter. After the shutdown of ETV, she moved on to join ATN Bangla. She gained fame in ATN Bangla, which eventually attracted the attention of BBC World Service. She then proceeded to join as a broadcast journalist and hosted BBC Bangladesh Sanglap, a replica of Question Times, as the first female anchor. |
