Mitesh Kumar Patel

Mitesh Kumar Patel (born 1 April 1977) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter who is primarily known for his work in the Hollywood film The Man in the Maze in 2011. Mitesh was born in a small village in Kherva in Gujarat, India. Mitesh Patel is the Founder and President of Applied Art Productions. Patel graduated from M.S University for a Masters in Applied Arts. After graduating, he decided to open a business focusing in advertising and design. Later developed into a production, distribution, and VFX under the brand name Applied Art Productions. With his experience, Patel continues to bring his combination of creative solutions and management skills ensures success of each production. Patel holds extensive knowledge to establish creative and professional partnerships with talented writers, directors and producers.
In 1999, Mitesh married a Canadian Nurse, Nimisha Patel, with whom he has two sons Aum and Arth Patel. After marriage he moved to Canada and started his career as a Creative Designer and later he moved to USA in 2005 and when he actually involved in Film Industry and pursued his passion.
Mitesh’s Production House Applied Art Productions is based in Hollywood is concentrated not only American Cinema but all sort of art cinema from all corners of the world. Mitesh made his directorial debut with the blockbuster mystery the Man in the Maze (2011) and the movie earned the prestigious recognitions and awards across the States. The Movie bagged President’s Award North Carolina Film Awards 2010, Best SFX Make-up in Los Angeles Reel Film Festival 2010, Award of the Merit in Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood 2010 , Winner of Silver Ace Award Las Vegas Film Festival 2011, Fame Walk International Film Festival 2010 and Winner of Honourable Mention Award Los Angeles Reel Film Festival 2011.The Movie also got selected for Treasure Coast International Film Festival 2011, Fame Walk International Film Festival 2011, Alabama International Film Festival 2010, Mississippi International Film Festival , Motor City Nightmares Film Festival 2011.
His upcoming movie Neron (2016) for which he is the producer and director of the movie which will be released in Theatres worldwide in the later year 2016. The Movie already earned him the Silver Award at F.AM.E’US International Film Festival and second award at Accolade Global Film Competition. His project based on the story of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was announced in 2013 and is under production and is on the way of releasing in 2017.
