Miss Multiverse Netherlands

Miss Multiverse Netherlands is an annual national beauty pageant that selects the delegate to represent Netherlands at the Miss Multiverse pageant. It is one of the most important pageants of the franchise, since the Netherlands is the home of the Miss Multiverse headquarters. The winners of the national pageant are selected from a preliminary competitions, the top 12 move on to a second event where the winner is selected by popular votes and members of the jury.
Women Empowering Other Women
The Women Empowerment Foundation is an umbrella foundation based in the Netherlands and devoted solely to empower women and raise funds for charitable purposes. The foundation does not collects funds and does not have political or religious affiliation., its objective is to supports and encourages social, charitable, cultural, and other philanthropic projects.
The foundation was designed to bring like-minded women under one roof for the purpose of empowering them trough programs, lift their self esteem, enhance their social circle, help them promote them selves and their business as they organize charitable work through fun and effective networking events as means to give back to the community. The philosophy of the foundation started with the concept of pageantry, most pageants around the world support a good cause with the purpose of providing wide visibility to social issues that affect us all; as the number of pageants increases our foundation serves as umbrella to these initiatives and the gateway to help them reach our community.
Charity of choice
Miss Multiverse Netherlands has selected The Orphanage Ninos de Christo
With the Women Empowerment Foundation; the pageant supports charities; such as, the "Niños de Cristo" orphanage. an orphanage in La Romana Dominican Republic, that houses more than 165 boys and girls, whom have been abandoned and endured difficulties; such as, victims of abuse of many forms.
Pageant criteria
The Miss Multiverse Netherlands is open to females age 18-26, who are unmarried, never given birth; minimum height of 1.70 cm; possess beauty of face and proportionate body structure; outgoing and friendly; excellent physical condition; have knowledge of their country's culture and willingness to support charitable events; shall either be born in Netherlands or have parents from the Netherlands.
The pageant uses the international pageant's judging criteria in choosing the winner which includes overall appearance, beauty of the face, swimsuit fitness, poise and elegance, personality, environmental awareness and intelligence.
