Miss Anthology

Miss Anthology is a Portland, Oregon-based initiative designed to teach female and LGBTQIA+ youth how to create sequential art by providing free workshops and art supplies. Miss Anthology was created by artists Melanie Stevens, Emily Lewis, and Mack Carlisle. In 2016, Miss Anthology was awarded a grant through Portland Institute for Contemporary Art's Precipice Fund and the Andy Warhol Foundation. In 2017, Miss Anthology was awarded a residency with c3:initiative in the St. Johns neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. Work produced by both students and teachers involved in Miss Anthology has been exhibited at Portland State University's Littman White Gallery and the KSMoCA International Art Fair.
