Mind Mastery

MIND MASTERY
----
Mind Mastery involves understanding the Universal Scientific Laws that govern our lives. Once we have understood the Universal Laws then we can work on modifying our behaviour, attitude and thoughts in order to align them with the Universal Scientific Laws. This approach of reengineering behaviour, attitude and thoughts instead of merely focusing on behaviour is proven to work in yielding permanent and lasting success as a result.
An important tenet of Mind Mastery is the ability to leverage on the power of the Subconscious Mind.

MIND MASTERY AND AGING
----
Human beings age in three different ways. They are:
1. Chronological Aging
2. Physiological Aging
3. Mental Maturity Aging
Chronological Aging is the number of years we have lived. It is not something we can manipulate.
Physiological Aging is determined by studying the levels of various hormones directly related to aging. Two people with the same chronological age may have different physiological ages. The same person through the correct health practices may even effect reverse aging on their bodies. As far as physiological aging is concerned the younger the better.
Mental Maturity Aging is a state of mind that an individual has as a result of undergoing different experiences and challenges in life. One's mental maturity can be divided into three stages namely dependence, independence and interdependence.
Mental Maturity Aging is classified into the following three types:
* Dependence
* Independence
* Interdependence
Dependence is the earliest stage of mental maturity. Dependence is clearly exhibited by a toddler who depends on his adult care-givers for all his needs like food, clothes and personal hygiene. Their behaviour is comparable to a cone resting at its apex. It is so unstable that a few people need to hold it up so that it can remain upright.
Independence is the stage where one develops from the stage of depending on others for their needs to becoming self sustaining. This is when an individual starts earning his own living. An individual living in the independent stage of mental maturity can take care of all his needs without help from others. The danger with this stage is that one also becomes self centered and develops egotism. When people are egoistic they are comparable to a cone that is resting on its side. It does not need constant support for its stability, yet the slightest disturbance will set it to motion.
The highest stage of Mental Maturity Aging is the Interdependence stage. At this stage an individual appreciates everyone and everything around them. Even animals and other inanimate objects are looked upon with love, care and respect. The interdependent individual is like a cone resting on its base, always in a state of stability that is not easily disturbed.
