Millennium Middle School

Millenium Middle School was built, in the year 2001. The school is currently testing a proto - type architectural design. It is essentially the first of its Kind. They like to label themselves as the best Middle School. Addtionally it is said that there is no other School like it in; South Florida. This suggest that there is possibly another school of the kind, just not in South Florida...

Addtionally they Label the students that attend Millenium Middle, as: Millenium Stars. STARS is an acronym standing for:

A:Achieve

R:Results

Millenium Middle uses Teams these teams are comprised of:

6th Grade:

Discovery
Nebula
Mercury
Pioneers

7th Grade:

Explorers
Innovators
Rockets
Satellites

8th Grade

Apollo
Learnstars
Comets
Voyagers
Tritons
( Tritons was added as of the: 2008 - 2009 school year )

The teams are seperated by five different groups.
A, B, C, D, and E
For 6th grade - 7th Grade

D, and E was created for Advanced Students

C is for average students

A, B: Is for behind kids.

These teams were decided depending on there score on the F - CAT The higher they score, means they end up in an Advanced class ( D, E )
Lower score put them in ( A, B )

For 8th Grade however students in D are taking Algebra 1A
A course that progesses through half the book, instead the whole textbook. Students in E, are taking Algebra 1 Honors; which in turn gives them 1 High school credit, and the privlge to move on to Geometry for there Freshman Class...

TV Productions (They do the morning annoucments)

AVID (They design the yearbook)
