Mike Bunney is a candidate running for the Labour Party in North Dorset, England, for the 2010 General Elections in the United Kingdom, due to be held on Thursday 6 May 2010. Mike Bunney is a teacher at a secondary school, The Blandford School, in Blandford. He teaches History and is Head of Year 10. One of his rivals in the North Dorset constituency is Anna Hayball of the Green Party. She also works at The Blandford School, but as an English teacher and Year 11 Tutor. He is listed on the Labour website as a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC). He appeared on the BBC's Question Time in 2009 as a member of the audience. He asked the panel a question and showed strong support for Gordon Brown of the Labour Party. Personal life He lives in Boscombe, a suburb of Bournemouth in Dorset. |
