Mikaya Heart

Mikaya Heart (née Ann Brander) was born in 1952 in Scotland, and attended The Mary Erskine School for Girls in Edinburgh. She studied biology at York University, worked on John Seymour’s organic farm in Wales, and later studied agricultural mechanics in England. In 1982 she immigrated to northern California. She is the author of several books: *The Straight Woman’s Guide to Lesbianism *Lesbian Adventure Stories, published by Wildheart Books in 1994; *When the Earth Moves: Women and Orgasm, published by Celestial Arts in 1998; *With the Sun in My Eyes: the true story of Char Sundust, shamanic practitioner and psychic reader, published by I-universe in 2008; *My Sweet Wild Dance, published by Dog Ear Publishing in 2009. She is also the author of several articles and short stories. She is a Minister of Holistic Healing with the Awakenings Institute. |
