Mido Taha

Mido Taha (born 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon) to an Iraqi mother and Lebanese father. He has lived most his life in Beirut, but has traveled to many places such as Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, France, Italy, and Germany.

Biography
He first encountered DJing at the age of 17 and then worked with a company called Disco Delta., which was later known as Hafalat for 2 years, which organized and handled private parties, birthday parties and weddings.
He played in various clubs in Monot (Beirut), but was never a resident in one due to lack of time as he a student studying Graphic design in a university in Beirut. While traveling in Egypt, he was offered work there at a beach in Marina City, he did work in Hardrock Cafe nightclub there for a night. Mido is versatile in the music he plays, as the first four years he played all kinds of music, from Rap, Hiphop, R'nB to Trance and house. However he was always into Electronic Music, from old school Techno to trance to drum' n bass and garage, and mostly Psychedelic Trance, which he recently decided to focus on a lot more. He has been organizing psy events at local clubs, under the new alias of "Dark Dragon", all in efforts to encourage the psy scene in Lebanon. Recently in the Spring of 2006, "Dark Dragon" organized and spinned with other DJz from Turkey, Japan, India, Germany and other countries, a prefestival party one day before Soulclipse festival 2006 that took place in Turkey. .

On the 21st of June 2006, "Dark Dragon" and along with 3 other friends Launch "Psyleb.com" the first website/forum in the Arab world, dedicated to psy trance and psy culture. The launch was during Psyleb's first official event "Psy Session 1". The 2006 Lebanon war slowed down the progress of Psyleb and "Dark Dragon", but slowly after the war, Dark Dragon played at "Psy Session 2" @ Club Spot, which was the first psychedelic trance event to take place in Lebanon since the war..
