Micks

Michaela Elizabeth Cook (born 26 June 1995), known as Micks, is an Australian songwriter and independent country music recording artist.
Career
Early Life
Micks was born in South Africa and at the age of two relocated to Australia with her family. From the age of four Micks began instruction on various instruments and began writing songs at the age of 14. She began her professional musical career in August 2014, at age 19.
In 2016 she joined RSPCA as an ambassador to use her social media platforms to spread the organisations message, as well as appearing at RSPCA Events to both perform and spread the awareness of Animal Cruelty.
In June 2017, Micks released her single "Everything Will Be Alright" in collaboration with Tourism and Events Queensland, supporting the reopening of the Whitsunday's region after the devastating economical effects of Cyclone Debbie.
