Said Juma Hassani also known as “Chege Chigunda” (born October 8th 1979) is a Tanzanian recording Artist/Musician original from Kigoma - Tanzania. He is among the successful musician in East Africa with a lot of hit songs and featured big artist in Africa. Early Life Chege Chigunda was born in Kigoma- Tanzania .He grew up in Kigoma and took his primary education at KIMPAPA primary school . He is a single father of one daughter. Music Career Chege started his music career at the young age when he was at primary school( Kipampa P/R School) and was involved in several local talents shows. Chege released his first single in 2003 “nenda” from Bongo record, The song picked in charts of different radio station in Tanzania.There after he released another super hit song called Twenzetu feat Temba, YP and Ferooz which introduce him across boarder, The song made Chege to get different collaboration across east Africa like “kila mmoja” Nonini feat Chege, “running low” Wahu feat Chege. Up to date has released another super hit song called kaunyaka feat DJ maphorisa of south Africa which is still in charts in different radio and TV stations across Africa.His last investment track features South African xelimpilo belonging to Uhuru and Nigerian’s Runtown with a song called Sweety sweety produced in South Africa and video shot in South Africa by Justin Cumpos.He has also featured one of Africa’s Top Artist Diamond Platnums with a song Titled WAACHE WAOANE which is still trending across Africa, The Video shot by Justin Cumpos. Currently he has a New song that is a collaboration with his partner named Mh. Temba, the song is called (Go down) and it is doing well across Africa.
