Michiana Paranormal Investigations

Michiana Paranormal Investigations is a paranormal investigation team that is located in the South Bend/Mishawaka area of northern Indiana, US. The area is located 90 miles east of Chicago and is called "Michiana" due to its close proximity to the Indiana and Michigan border. The team was founded in 2012 by Lead Investigators Jeffrey Price and Liz Brownbridge. Jeffrey Price is a member of a large police department in north central Indiana and Liz Brownbridge is a former police dispatcher. The team has grown to over 12 member since 2012 and includes senior investigators, investigators, video and photo technicians and audio specialists. Michiana Paranormal Investigations or also known as "MPI" investigates claims of paranormal activity and also does educational seminars including a local public access TV show. MPI also produces regular videos for their YouTube Channel to offer educational and informative information about haunted locations.

Michiana Paranormal Investigations has been featured in several local Indiana newspaper publications demonstrating investigation techniques. The South Bend Tribune invited the Michiana Paranormal team to investigate a farmhouse outside of Indianapolis built in the 1800s and Corby's Bar, which was featured in the movie "Rudy" in South Bend, IN in October 2016. The Elkhart Truth featured MPI while they investigated the Elkhart Civic Theater, also known as the Bristol Opera House, located in Bristol, IN in June 2014 and featured MPI as they investigated the South Bend Potawatomi Conservatories in October 2015. MPI also hosted a paranormal meet and greet/lecture at the conservatory as well. Lead Investigator Jeffrey Price also worked with the Elkhart Truth for a segment about a haunted location in Elkhart, IN called the Cable Line Road Ghost. in October, 2016 The Peru Tribune followed the Michiana Paranormal Investigations team along with the Miami County Paranormal Society as they investigated the Circus Hall of Fame which located in Peru, IN.
Television Media
Local TV stations have also worked with Michiana Paranormal Investigations to bring awareness of paranormal events. Fox28 worked with the MPI team as an investigation was conducted at the South Bend Civic Theater in October 2015. In October of 2015, WSBT-TV, the CBS affiliate in South Bend, IN investigated with the team as they investigated the Lerner Theater in Elkhart, IN. ABC 57 located in South Bend, IN followed the team and worked with Lead Investigator Jeffrey Price talking about the parallels of being a police officer and a paranormal investigator in 2015. WNDU 16, the NBC affiliate located in South Bend also featured Michiana Paranormal Investigations in 2015.
