Michael Stanga is an amateur storm chaser from Deephaven, Minnesota. He founded the St. Cloud State Storm Chase Club and TheWxPage.Com related to his storm chasing career. Amateur Storm Chasing Career Michael has been chasing since May 2006, when he intercepted a severe thunderstorm outside of Brookings, SD. since that time period he has intercepted countless storms and started the St. Cloud State Storm Chase Club to share his passion of chasing with other SCSU students. His first tornado intercept was on august 24th, 2006 just south of Searles, MN The Tornado was rated an F0 before becoming the much better known F3 tornado that happened after the Searles, MN tornado on the same day.
