Overview The St. Cloud State Storm Chase Club (SCC) or (SCSU SCC) was founded in November of 2008 by St. Cloud State University students Michael Stanga and Brandon Bigelbach. The Club is located at St. Cloud State University, Wick Science Building, Earth And Atmospheric Sciences Department, in St. Cloud, MN. Storm Chasing The Storm Chase Club was founded to promote safe and ethical Storm Chasing for St. Cloud State University students. The Storm Chase Club currently maintains a website at http://studentorg.stcloudstate.edu/stormchase/. The club has officially gone on 2 storm chases as of October, 2009. The first Chase was on April 24th, 2009 in Northwood, Iowa. the 2nd Chase occurred on August 8th, 2009 in Wayzata/Plymouth, Minnesota. The August 8th Chase resulted in the documentation of the August 8th Long Lake, MN tornado.
