Michael Allan Peel, (b. 1950), is a USA Human Resources Professional. He is currently a serving Board Member at Pier 1 Imports Inc and Select Comfort Corporation. Peel was Vice President , Human Resources and Administration at Yale University from 2008-2017 where he created the a ‘Talent Planning Process’,, the Yale Affinity Networks, The Talent Management Process and the ‘Managing at Yale’ curriculum for University leaders. Prior to this Peel was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at General Mills inc from 1991 - 2008. At General Mills he was Secretary to the Compensation Committee and one of the five Trustees of General Mills Foundation. Peel was Senior Vice President, Human Resources for PepsiCo Worldwide foods from 1987-1991, and Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Group from 1984-1987. Early life and career In 1968, Michael A Peel graduated with a B.S. degree from James Madison Unversity. In 2002 he was elected a Fellow of The National Academy of Human Resources.
