MetaLAB (at) Harvard

In February 2011, Jeffrey Schnapp founded metaLAB (at) Harvard under the aegis of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. metaLAB has established a leading position in the field of experimental arts and humanities. Its personnel has evolved over the years and it currently defines itself as an "idea foundry, knowledge-design lab, and production studio experimenting in the networked arts and humanities." Founder and faculty director of the lab is Jeffrey Schnapp. Matthew Battles, Sarah Newman, Jessica Yurkofsky, and Kim Albrecht are the principals of the research group. metaLAB aims to "transcend divisions between the arts, sciences, and humanities; between the academy, industry, and the public sphere"
