Sarah Rosalena Brady (born 1982) is an American interdisciplinary artist. She is Assistant Professor of Computational Craft in the Department of Art at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Early life and education Brady was born in Los Angeles, California in 1982. Her work was influenced by her grandfather who worked on the Mission Control for the Voyager Program. She received her MFA from UCLA Design Media Arts (2018) Career Brady's work uses ancient methods of craft with new technologies. Her other influences are weaving and artificial intelligence. Brady has worked with organizations, including the National Museum of the American Indian and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. and the Leonardo International Society for Arts, Sciences, and Technology Steve Wilson Fellowship.
