Merlien Institute was founded by Jasper Lim in 2008 with the mission to meet the needs of information and insight of marketing professionals. Main conferences are “Market Research in the Mobile World” and “Qualitative 360”. These conferences are organized all around the globe, with events in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. Besides from the conferences, Merlien Institute also has its own publication “HeraldBoy News” that reports marketing and technology news.

Market Research in the Mobile World
Market Research in the Mobile World or MRMW conferences showcase case studies and best practices from Fortune 500 Brands. These conferences feature speakers from multinational companies such as Walmart, Hewlett-Packard, Citigroup, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Pepsico, Google, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestle, Huawei, international think tanks and research agencies.. The annual MRMW conference series have gathered up to 2000 visitors. In 2013, the first Asian conference was held in Kuala Lumpur, which had as a speaker John Fergusson, global head of TNS among others.
