Men going their own way

Definition
Men going their own way (MGTOW) is a social or philosophical notion. Following explanation of MGTOW is a collective understanding based on what men, who identify themselves as MGTOWs, have declared in their videos and texts on the Internet. No official publication or books is known yet.

MGTOW denotes a group of men who refuse to take the conventional, traditional or social role of a man.
A conventional, traditional or social role of a man is one in which the man is supposed to have one of the following role:
* Main provider and protector in a relationship.
* Dedicating a major part of his life to his female partner, sometimes changing the course of his life.

Fundamental Terms
* Male on male competition: Male on male competition occurs with the subconscious or conscious goal of rising above other male "rivals" in order to gain attention of women and have sexual or romantic relationship with women.
* Male mother need.
* Sexual discrimination against men and boys.

Ideology and Lifestyle
MGTOWs propose the following important ideas in favor of men and in order to improve lives of men in modern societies (generally, there is no focus or concern on improving life of both men and women):
* Male on male competition should be avoided as much as possible. Male on male competition is destructive for the majority of men (and might be constructive for minority at expense of their time and energy) and at many times brings no real value to society as a whole. By no real value, it means that : often, there is also no benefit in terms of science, healthcare or quality of life coming from this competition.
* Social worship of women should stop. Male and female should be treated equally.
