Melvin George is the founder, CEO and Chief Engineer of Mels3D.
Biography
Melvin George is an entrepreneur, musician, YouTuber, and inventor. He is the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at Mels3D.
Melvin was born and raised in Kannur, India. He attended Kannur University for his bachelor's degree in 2015. Three years later, he received a bachelor's degree in commerce.
After Graduation he joined the master's degree programme at Kannur University where wanted to start his own company so he began designing a homemade electric guitar from the wood gathered from his old house. Following, he designed Amps, Pedals, Processors to his list.so he could build a guitar.
Mels3D
In 2021 Mels 3D started as a manufacturing company with 3D printing focusing on musical instruments and 3D printer accessories.
The research led to the invention of worlds first 7 color mixing extruder. Later the company started focusing on 3D printer research and developmentwith the intention to create the world's cheapest concrete 3D printer to manufacture affordable houses for the homeless and poor.
His research led to the creation of new poly lactic acid in a faster and cheaper way.
The vision of Mels3D and its achievements led Melvin George received Disha Darshan Special Achievement Award (on 3 March 2022) from V. D. Satheesan (Opposition Leader Kerala Legislative Assembly) in the presence of Adv. Sajeev Joseph MLA.
The company developed the concept of The VIBGYOR color model, which mixes 7 colors for 3D printing while the traditional printers stay on 3 or 5 colors being mixed. The development of Melxlxtreme C1, a concrete 3D printer, gained the attention of news and media.
The development of the new printer invited collaborators from spain and mexico for his concrete printer.
