Alan S. Armstrong

Alan S Armstrong is the CEO and Chairman of the Board, and a Director at Williams Partners, LP. He is also CEO, Director and President of Williams Companies, Inc; Director of BOK Financial Corp, and Director of Access Midstream Partners LP.
Education
Armstrong received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1985.
Career
Armstrong joined Williams as an engineer in 1986, spending his entire professional career at this one company.
From 1998 to 1999 Armstrong was Vice President of Commercial Development of the midstream business. From 1999 to 2002 he was Vice President, Gathering and Processing for Midstream. From 2002 until January 2011 Armstrong was Senior Vice President-Midstream. Armstrong serves on the National Petroleum Council, and is a director for the American Petroleum Institute.
Personal
Armstrong has four children and spends weekends at the lake with family and friends.<ref name="Tulsa People" />
