Meghna Rajshekhar is 13 year old girl from Nicobar Islands, survivor of Indian ocean tsunami. She survived by clinging on the door in ocean near Car Nicobar for two days without any water and food. Her parents are presumed dead in tsunami.
Meghna Rajshekhar is daughter of late Indian Air Force Officer. On 26 December 2004 morning, 35 feet high waves struck to Indian Air Force Base in Car Nicobar. She was was washed away in ocean with her parents. She cried 11 times when rescue helicopters hovered over ocean in search of survivors. After two days, the door on which she was clinging, drifted towards shore. She was swarmed by snakes and suffered sever bruising. She was found walking in daze by local people.
