Mediterranean Countries

Mediterranean Countries are a 21 nations who share numerous aspects in sense of culture, traditions, norms, history, and geography in relation to the Mediterranean. Each country of them has separate culture and maybe linked to other surrounding cultures, yet Mediterranean heritage is also commom between them and in them as much as the other components.

History
Interestingly, the Mediterranean countries shared much of their history through out humankind as cooperative nations or as one nation. That was since the Egyptian Empire which expanded to gather the Ancient Egyptian Kingdom with Cyprus, Rhodes and other Mediterranean islands. There was also political, cultural and economic relations between Hitties in Anatolia and Ancient Egypt. In addition to the historic and giant relationship between Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt.
Ancient Greece had also several relations with Mediterranean kingdoms such as Carthage and many Anatolian cities facing the Aegean Sea which is a region of the Mediterranean Sea.
Rome and the Roman Empire was probably the first to collect the Mediterranean countries in one body. The military expansion of the empire showed the natural sense of gathering and setteling the same geographic ragion.
Levantine and Pheonician towns had also formed strong relations with North Mediterranean nations.
Geography
The Mediterranean countries share a lot of topographic and geographic charateristics. This can be found on land and down in the sea levels.
The Mediterranean climate is also a common factor between the 21 countries especially in certain provinces in them. Which leads by turn to plant similar species and breed same animals. And that forms similar human moods, behaviours and charactersitics.
People
The Mediterranean is dominated by the Caucasoid ethnic features which is present in the Mediterranean nations in 2 forms.
*The Mediterranean race which is represented by Amazigh and their blood siblings the Egyptians. In addition to Greeks, and The Illyrians who are the ancestors of Albanians. Italians and Spanish as well. And Levant Arabs in Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.
*The Slavic Race, being represented by Slovenes, Croatians, Bosniaks, Montenegrins in Balkans.
While the distinct ethnic family is the Mongoloid Race which is present in the Mediterranea country of Turkey as Turks who are branch from the Altaic ethnic family.
Culture
Culture is always a strong factor in linkage between Mediterranean countries. Unconsciously, The Mediterranean heritage, cuisine, traditions is being practiced even if it was in different names or have a slight various shapes.
The cuisine of the region is diverse while having a degree of homogeneity. Some commonly used ingredients include olives and olive oil, pitas, honey, sesame seeds, sumac, chickpeas, mint, parsley, sour fruits like lemons, oranges and straweberry.

Transport and industry
Trasnportation among Mediterranean country is easy and can be achieved by several methods. Furthermore, tourism trips and journies take in favour of the closeliness between Mediterranean countries to make trips from one country to another. That is highly realised in Cyprus, Egypt, Turkey, Greece and Italy.
There is also a proposed underwater tunnel to connect between Morocco and Spain.
