Website
GoneTooSoon allows users to create and maintain a memorial website where family and friends can add tributes with the aim of keeping the loved one's memory alive.
In August 2008, GoneTooSoon was upgraded to include a number of features that can be found on social networking sites such as user profiles (known as a user's garden), the ability to add friends and send messages.
GoneTooSoon Pets Edition
On the 30 October GoneTooSoon released a pets version of the site allowing users to create online memorials and lasting tributes to celebrate the lives of lost pets. Users can also leave virtual gifts for pets and light candles.
Media Coverage

Ryanair adverts rand alongside tributes for dead people called Ryan, and there was a motorcycle promotion on a memorial for a man killed in a bike crash . Adverts were immediately removed from the website.
GoneTooSoon was forced to remove a memorial page set up for the murdered teenager Kadeem Blackwood after 'insulting messages' were posted. The teenager who was believed to be a gang member in Derby received 230 abusive messages which were passed to Derbyshire Police for investigation by GoneTooSoon's founder, Terry George. .
