Maxlite

MaxLite is a company based in West Caldwell, New Jersey in the United States, which designs energy-efficient lamps and lighting fixtures. The company sells consumer, commercial, and industrial lighting products including Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs). The company just celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2013.
MaxLite was named as a 2009 U.S. Energy Star Partner of the Year for developing a low-mercury CFL. In 2011, MaxLite established the MaxLED® brand, a line of indoor and outdoor LED lighting fixtures and lamps. In July 2012, MaxLite opened its first United States-based luminaires and lamp assembly and manufacturing facility within its headquarters in West Caldwell, New Jersey to comply with the requirements of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) .
The company has LED and compact fluorescent lighting fixtures and lamps listed on the Energy Star products list.
In January 2013, the company donated 1,000 CFL bulbs to Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie's donation hotline for tangible donations to help victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey who were rebuilding homes and businesses.
