Maximiliano Arellano (born 2000 in Metepec, Mexico) is a Mexican child prodigy in the medical field. He has been studying medicine on his own and claims to be an expert in the fields of osteoporosis, diabetes and anaemia. He has spoken publicly at medical colleges to prove his knowledge, giving a lecture he calls "Causes and consequences of the osteoporosis". The director of Mexico Medical State University, Roberty Camacho, has said that he believes the boy is too young to attend the university but may test his ability due to the boy's growing fame. Maximiliano's mother is pushing to have her son admitted, stating that she believes her son could become a qualified doctor by the age of 13.
