Maxim Zhukov

Maxim Zhukov is a multilingual typographic designer.
Career
For many years Zhukov served as a typographic co-ordinator to the United Nations. Zhukov is involved in typeface design, consulting on Cyrillic type design for many individual designers and type foundries. He taught typographic design at his alma mater, Moscow Printing Institute, and now teaches at Parsons The New School for Design and Cooper Union in New York City. Zhukov writes on typography and type design. He is a member of a number of Russian and American professional societies and associations. He is a vice president and member of the Board of ATypI, and the ATypI country delegate for Russia.
