Max Keenlyside

Max Keenlyside is a Canadian pianist and composer. He is known for his work in ragtime and stride piano styles. Keenlyside was born in late 1991. Biography Keenlyside began playing piano at the age of ten. His interests in piano performance and composition simultaneously began with ragtime, and later expanded to include concert band and other instrumental forms. His musical work is derived from the stride, ragtime and classic jazz piano traditions, with special emphasis on the work of Scott Joplin and Jelly Roll Morton.
