Mavatar is a privately held company that offers a shopping platform that allows users to compare and purchase products from multiple retailers while applying retailers’ available promotion codes. Significant because of its popular platform, PC Magazine called Mavatar's real-time shopping applications a "tech innovation that will change how you shop." The company is headquartered in Silicon Valley, and was founded by Susan Akbarpour and Brom Mahbod, Ph.D. in 2011.
