Maurizio Cunningham-Brown

Maurizio Cunningham-Brown is an entrepreneur and businessman with over 30 years’ global experience in the Information Systems, Financing, Marketing, Investment and Commercial Lending markets, along with 15 years expertise in the Housing, Shelter, Commercial Development and Property spaces. He is on the Executive Board of 500 Group Inc., an intellectual property (IP), investment and development company.
Business career
As a director of PSA Wholesale, a division of PSA Peugeot Citroën a €54Bn corporation in 2013, he grew revenues from £180m to over £400m.
Cunningham-Brown was the key founding partner in Alison Srl, a logistics and information management company founded in Italy in 1995. The company grew rapidly under his leadership, and expanded into France, Spain, Belgium, Russia, Germany, Holland, Poland and UK, employing more than 100 staff and with revenues of over €20m per annum.
The company was sold to Snap-on, a $3Bn corporation selling services, tools and equipment to the automotive world, for an undisclosed sum.
Cunningham-Brown was retained as Global Accounts Director, on a non-compete operating & consulting contract to transition business to the United States, where he was responsible for expanding operations into Canada, Mexico, Asia Pacific and lastly South America.
Current endeavors
Cunningham-Brown serves on the Board of Directors and as Principal Operating Officer at the pleasure of the Board for Brine Company, a UK property management corporation principally vested in the ownership and rental management of retail properties around Europe.
He is co-founder and CEO of American Dream Technology, an innovative company dedicated to significantly reducing construction costs, along with energy usage and associated time to build.
American Dream Technology is highlighted as the Michigan SBDC Spotlight Project, as well as being featured in Governor Rick Snyder's 2014/15 Michigan Prospectus, also available in Chinese.
Cunningham-Brown also serves as Senior Partner with pOrbis group, a strategic investment and business development company, where he ensures pOrbis supports the rapidly growing property development markets and is on the Executive Management Board of 500 Group, Inc.
Current projects at 500 Group leverage his expertise in real estate, property development and automotive logistics.
Personal information
Cunningham-Brown is British born but fully fluent in Italian, with a good understanding of French and Spanish. He attended Victoria University of Manchester where he studied Economics and Accountancy and has a post degree in Mathematics and Econometrics obtained during his time in Torino, Italy.
He lives in the United States with his wife of 32 years and their labrador.
