Matthew Tuck

Matthew "Matt" Tuck (born January 20, 1980) in Bridgend, Wales, UK, is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist in the Welsh heavy metal band Bullet for My Valentine. He performs alongside Michael Paget (lead guitar), Jason James (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Michael Thomas (drums). Tuck can also play keyboards, the recorder and harmonica. He recorded guest vocals with Black Tide on their second album, Post Mortem.
Instruments
Matthew Tuck currently plays a Randy Rhoads Jackson Matt Tuck Signature guitar equipped with a EMG 85 pickup in the neck position and a EMG 81 in bridge position. The guitar has custom inlays, Sperzel locking tuners and a reversed Jackson head. The controls consists of two separate volume knobs, one for each pickup and a 3-way toggle for pickup selection. The guitar is available in three colors: white with black bevels, black with silver sparkling bevels, and sparkling silver with black bevels. For live performances he has used Mesa/Boogie, Peavey 6505 head through Mesa/Boogie Rectifier cabinets. He also uses a Morley Bad Horsie Wah pedal and an MXR Zakk Wylde Overdrive, as seen in Guitar World's Set List segment.
Tuck also owns a Gibson Flying V, which he can be seen using during the live performance of Hand of Blood on a 2005 episode of Die Sarah Kuttner Show. However, he tends to use his Jackson models for the majority of live shows.
He has also mentioned Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Pantera and Megadeth as being heavy influences in his songwriting. He and his longtime Girlfriend, Charlotte Dollhart had a son named Evann on March 25, 2010.
