A graduate of Concordia University with a degree in English Literature, Matthew began his stint on THE TEAM 990 in Montreal (CKGM) in 2003, as host of 'Menz, where the adventure never ends'. In February of 2004, Matthew left his position as both Menz radio host and staff writer for Menz.com and joined Caff Entertainment, hosting their radio program on THE TEAM 990 and writing for CaffImage.com. He also co-hosted the station's Sports Collectors program in 2004.
From 1999-2003, Matthew was the sports columnist for the popular Men's portal Askmen.com.
In October, 2004, Matthew was given his own show on THE TEAM 990, titled Game Points. Currently, the show airs Tuesday and Sundays, discussing all major North American sports. His show has featured such sports guests as boxer Arturo Gatti, former NBA player Tim Hardaway, current NFL player Nate Burleson, former NHL player Theoren Fleury, former MLB player Warren Cromartie and Olympic medallist Clara Hughes. The program has also had many media personalities on, such as ESPN's Adam Schefter, John Buccigross and Rob Neyer, and Playboy's Andrea Lowell.
He currently holds the record for longest on-air show on THE TEAM 990 at 10.5 hours, set in 2007.
Matthew appeared twice as a guest on TSN's Off the Record with Michael Landsberg (in December, 2003, and June, 2004) and on the Casino Rama Grill Room (November, 2009).
In 2007 and 2008, Matthew had three basketball sports articles picked up by the Montreal Gazette and National Post newspapers, interviewing NBA players Joel Anthony (twice) and Samuel Dalembert.
From 2007-2008, Matthew served as Director of Communications for the ill-fated Capazoo.com. The site was funded in part by popular sports athletes, such as Champ Bailey and Kenyon Martin. However, before the website really got going, it was shut down due to legal action and feuding amongst the company's direction.
Currently, Matthew continues to host his THE TEAM 990 sports program and run his content providing company - www.contentservicing.com. The company provides copywriting, PR and other content services.
