Matt Garcia

Matt Garcia (born in Feb 1974) is a British entrepreneur primarily working in new media and photography.
Matt is currently CEO of Everyday Models Limited, a UK-based media company established in 2008. Everyday Models is believed to be the first to create a business model around brokering people's possessions as advertising space, and is considered a pioneer of sellsumerism. In 2009 Everyday Models received the Board of Innovation’s Most Innovative Business Concept of the Year award.
In 1997, at the age of 23, Matt formed the Matt Garcia Design Studio, to support opportunities from the emerging World Wide Web. Matt is Managing Director and Creative Director at the new media design and technology agency, based in London. Their clients include ING Group, Royal Navy, Hitachi Maxell, SKY Media, Virgin Atlantic, MacMillan Publishers and England Cricketer Paul Collingwood.
As an active music photographer, in the same year Matt also established Matt Garcia Photography, specializing in event reportage. The agency, based at the London Daylight Studio, has worked for AOL, Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland, Royal Navy, Endemol UK, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and England Cricketer Paul Collingwood.
