In the first two years of operation, the company concentrated on essay and dissertation help for college students. Beginning in 2005, the company has also provided college application essays web content, and business writing

Response to criticism

In 2007 the company has suffered losses in its services' sales due to media attacks on the fraudulent nature of essay and dissertation help. Many professors, universities and scholars claimed companies such as Masterpapers.com sold students papers which they presented as their own, and thus encouraged plagiarism, and the decline of quality in education.,

This negative attitude related to essay writing help was supported by a Google decision which in 2007, banned all advertisements related to custom essay writing. Some directories, libraries and article databases, such as EzineArticles.com matched Google’s decision, by banning publications which were related to buying/selling student’s essays and dissertations.
