Martin Hare

Martin Hare M.A.A.T (Circa 1973), born in Leeds, Costing modeller, VBA Programmer, and creator of :Digital Lexicography
Martin has been a fundamental part of costings in both government agencies and private companies since 1995. Most notably for the pay modernisation of the Department of Health, in which he was the Lead Costing Modeller from September 2004-October 2005.
At the Department of health Martin project managed and created a stand-alone Excel/VBA costing model for the Agenda For Change (Pay Modernisation for 1.3 million staff Members). This was a fundamental part of the costing sequences involved to create the end value. This has set the record back in 2005 for the largest pay modernisation costing ever.
From 1997 he has progressed with knowledge from Visual Basic for Applications and Excel to produce the "Digital Lexicography" methodology to check dictionary and digital book entries, and to produce electronic dictionaries for "Loop Testing" environments.
Digital Lexicography involves the creation of dictionaries within a computer environment that can be used for various tests. The dictionaries are created by the use of loops within VBA or other computer languages, these loops take selected characters from a list and loops each character with every other possible combination desired. The loop continues to add to the size of the dictionary until the loop either fails or all the desired entries have been created.
Martin has also created excel models that include - Odd Compiling Models (Betting Companies) Project Modelling (G.E, Department of health DOH, CPP), Pay Modernisation (DOH), Job Evaluation (DOH), Risk (G.E Capital, DOH), Service Costing (Initial), Product Costing (G.E), Commissions (CPP, Provident & G.E), Booking and Cost sheet (Ministry of Defence), General Accounting (Bradford and Bingley, G.E Capital), Performance (G.E), Absentee (Chicken Cabin), Pallet Scoring & Distribution (G.E), Sample Analysis (DOH, CPP), Time/holiday Sheets (Chicken Cabin, Dominos Pizza, Burger King) Funding and Budgets (DOH, Initial, G.E Capital), Waterfall Graphs, Selectable Graphs and Adjustable Graphs (G.E, CPP), Construction costing (ING Projects Spain), Projection Costing (MOD)
