Martin Demierre

Martin Demierre, born in 1970 in Argentina, is founder and director of the company TouchMind SA. He graduated in 1999 from the EPFL in Microtechnology and acquired over 10 years experience in the Web marketing, Customer Relationship Management CRM and the management of reputation online. He worked for the company MessageMedia / DoubleClick, where he managed marketing campaigns at European level for IBM, Yahoo, Nokia, BCV and FranceLoisir.
Mr. Demierre teaches E-marketing, Business Intelligence and CRM for several institutions such as SAWI, the HES-SO, Polycom and University of Lausanne.
Privacy
Martin Demierre was born in the Swiss colony of Baradero province of Buenos Aires, Republic of Argentina. With photographers and writers parents, Mr. Demierre has acquired a taste for travelling with his grandfather Antonio Martin, a Spanish origin refugee in Argentina.
He received a technical degree in Chemistry awarded by the Industrial School of Baradero. He continued his studies at Buenos Aires in electronics and at 20, he moved to Switzerland where he completed his master at the EPFL in Microengineering in collaboration with the University of Florida at Gainesville, USA.
Martin Demierre married in 2005 with Samantha Rochat-Demierre and is the proud father of two boys, Antonio Maxence, born in 2007 and Thomas Edward, born in 2009.
Professional Life
Demierre Martin worked from 2000 to 2001 as E-Production Manager for MessageMedia Inc. (DoubleClick Inc.) in , Switzerland. This company is a leader in e-marketing with 300 employees worldwide.
Martin Demierre handled the operations planning and production (60 events per day), quality management, process reengineering, and HTML content.
In 2001, he worked on an invention of cryptography in the laboratories of the EPFL, studying the business plan and feasibility presented to the IMD startup competition where the project has finished as finalist in 2000.
From 2001 to 2003, he worked for GivaudanAccess at Vernier.
Mr. Demierre has managed the online platform of Givaudan with 5,000 employees worldwide, defined and managed all projects developing systems (CRM, Marketing, Product Management, Management Information System), maintained a list of European issues and performed several projects to support the acquisition campaign conversion.
From 2003 to 2004, he worked for swissinfo / Swiss Radio International, in Berne. International part of the SSR Idea of Switzerland, this company has 200 employees.
As Marketing Analysis Manager, responsible for the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for the website (9 languages, 1 million unique visitors per month), he analyzed products (Statistics website and Customer Care Information), conducted surveys and market research with the Federal Office of Statistics (OFS) and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAE).

Recognition
On November 7, 2003, Martin Demierre received the award of the Industrial College of Baradero for his contribution to the creation of the first school of perfumery in South America.
With his company, TouchMind SA, Martin Demierre was the winner of Start-ups in technology in 2005 awarded by the Technology Park of Yverdon-les-Bains .
