Mark Titus

Mark Titus (born June 25, 1987 in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States) is a college basketball player for the . He has gained national attention for his blog entitled "Club Trillion."
College
In the fall 2006, Titus joined the Ohio State men's basketball team as a team manager. However, he decided that being a manager wasn't what he wanted and quit after a few short weeks. Later, the Ohio State coaching staff asked Titus to join the team as a walk-on and even gave him a scholarship for his first two years with the team. He is currently in his third year and has retained his status as a walk-on.
Blog
Titus has joined the slew of athletes entering the blogosphere with his blog titled "Club Trillion." He writes in a comedic tone and discusses "all things irrelevant about college basketball" including meeting various celebrities and his off-court antics with his teammates.
The name "Club Trillion" is derived from Titus' ambition to achieve the trillion, which is one minute played followed by nothing but zeroes in the box score. Club Trillion originally consisted of Titus, Kyle Madsen, and Danny Peters, but Madsen and Peters have since dropped their affiliations with the Club. Titus is currently the only member of Club Trillion and is solely responsible for the upkeep of the blog.
Titus' blog originally generated local buzz in the Columbus area, as it was referenced in "The Columbus Dispatch" and various internet forums discussing Ohio State athletics. He has recently gained national attention as well, appearing on The BS Report, the podcast of Bill Simmons, The Sports Guy, one of ESPN's most popular writers. Mark also recently had an article written about him by Jason King from Yahoo! where he was quoted calling Mark "one of the most well-known walk-ons in the country."
