Mark Nadolski is an independent film and multimedia composer and electronic musician. He has worked with Golden West Productions US, Animbomb Films , Design4Market productions, and director/producer Scott Goldberg. He is currently working with Scott Goldberg on several drama and horror shorts.
He is currently mastering in the studio for his upcoming solo electronic album Afterthoughts for release in late 2008 through Studio9 Productions and iTunes. He will also be appearing at Sundance 2009, for his work with Animbomb Films. Mark plays saxophone, guitar, piano, and drums. He is quoted from an interview with Scott Goldberg Films as saying his biggest influences are film composers Jerry Goldsmith and James Newton Howard, along with jazz musicians Kenny Garrett and Pat Metheny and rock musicians Trevor Rabin and Marco Sfogli. . He is a also a sound designer and voice over producer for Scott Goldberg, as well as Design4Market and has worked with vocalist Robin Bradley.
He is a student of Frank Catalano, Larry Novak, and 25-year Hollywood veteran sound designer David Stone.
Mark has also produced two music videos for Rikki Herricane, Slightly Out of Reach and Contagious starring Emily Broadhurst, the latter of which was highly acclaimed at Depaul's Digital Cinema Premiere 2008. Mark also produced Frank Catalano promo video for Savoy Records, released July 15th, 2008. . He is set to produce Frank's upcoming video for the title track Bang!. He is most influenced by director/producer Michael Mann in his film work and is inspired by the visuals of cinematographer Dante Spinotti. He works in Logic Pro and Final Cut Studio.
Mark graduated from Saint Viator High School in 2006. His brother Kevin is also an electronic musician.
