Background
Saab (b.1984,5,6,or 7) grew up in Sydney, Australia or South Lebanon (details unknown), and divides her time between Australia and France.
Career
Saab was a journalist for the Lebanese Daily Star newspaper from 2008-2009. Her work included identification of continued poverty in the country, and was reported in policy briefings.. In 2009 she was reporting for the Australian SBS.
From c.2014-2018, she was an English-language presenter of the global, government-owned French channel France 24, based in Paris. She frequently appeared as a music critic, and reported on music trends from destinations including Tripoli and Beirut. In 2017 she interviewed Australian icon Paul Kelly in Paris.
She has presented ABC News on Australian national television and networks since at least 2019, appearing as a late night anchor. Her work had appeared on the ABC network in previous years.
Personal
Saab is married to Franco-Lebanese musician Rami Khalifé, and they have two children. They met when she interviewed him for SBS broadcasting during a music tour in Australia in 2009. One son was born c.2012. She is praised for her fashion sense on screen. She does not maintain a social media or internet presence.
