Marhama Edu-support Programme

Marhama Edu-support Programme is a non-profit educational service wing of Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Peringolam Unit. It has been Working since 2009 for the betterment of Education in the region. Marhama cordinates programmes such as study material distribution for the needy students and felicitation for the talented winners.
Activities
* Study Material Distribution
Marhama primarily focuses on the basic needs of financially backward students of Peringolam region. It distributes study materials every year in the occasion of School opening.
* Scholarship
Marhama distributes scholarships to the students of higher education.
* Felicition
Marhama felicitates the winners and toppers of various exams.
Marhama 2015
Marhama conducted its Sixth anniversary programmes with Study material distribution to the needy students and felicitation to the talented winners. The programme held on 9 :30 am, 29th Jun 2015 at GHSS Peringolam. Peruvayal Panchayath President Subitha Thottanchery inaugurated the event. She praised social welfare activities of Marhama through its six years of involvements.
Devadasan (Principal, GHSS Peringolam), Baburaj (Head Teacher GHSS Peringolam), P. Asmabi, (Ward Member) felicitated the toppers of various exams. Nujaim (Secretary, SIO Kozhikode) led motivation class for the students. P. Sasidaran (PTA President), Abdurahman (President, Welfare Party of India Kunnamangalam), M.P Fasil (Solidarity Youth Movement), P.P Abdul Qadar (Chairman, marhama), P. Musthaq Alavi (President, SIO Kunnamangalam Area) felicitated the programme. Muslih (Coordinator, Marhama) presided over the programme and Wariz (President, SIO Peringolam) made welcome speech. Yasin recited Holy Quran and Musfar proposed vote of thanks.
