Margarit Abadjiev

Margarit Abadjiev () (born May 13, 1965 in Sliven) is a Bulgarian novelist and screenwriter.
A psychology graduate from Sofia University in 1991, in 1993 he wrote his first novel "Phoenix" which was published in 1998. The following year came out his collection of short stories "Guests". The title story is dedicated to the well-known Bulgarian translator and critic Krastan Diankov.
At the end of 2006 Abadjiev published a second collection of 16 stories entitled "Hooray for Heroes". In 2009, he published the novel "Chiaconne Passion". This book about Bulgarian violinist and composer Vasco Abadjiev who began as a child prodigy covers nearly fifty years of twentieth century history, examining the various circumstances, twists and upheavals experienced by the character..
