Marco Giorgino

Marco Giorgino is an Italian economist whose research work covers Financial intermediation topics, including corporate governance, risk management, public finance and banking.
With a degree in Economics at the Bocconi University (Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi) of Milan, he is a Full Professor of Financial Systems Analysis at the Politecnico di Milano.
He serves as Scientific Coordinator of the Observatory on Italian Regional Financial Institutions, in collaboration with the Fondazione Rosselli. He is also Member of the Scientific Committee of IFIP and of the Scientific Commission on Project Finance by Finlombarda.
He also serves as an independent director to a number of financial institutions and asset allocation companies.
