Marco de Miranda an architect in the bar and clubbing business, from Goa (India) to Germany and Singapore has astonished thousands of people in entertainment, a two time champion in cocktail mixing in the classical art and his ability to socialize has made him a world renowned name in the hospitality industry. born from a Goan (Indian) father A well renowned architect Lucio de Miranda and a German Mother Christa Brettinger, he studied in India till his A levels and then at 17 moved to Germany to his mother. His parents separated when he was 8 years old and decided to pursue his carrier there.
Marco worked under Bar Masters like those of Fatih Akerdem and Ahmet Ayberk and progressed to be the best in the industry. Every bar or restaurant he worked at won numerous awards, Casablanca Bar in Frankfurt nominated and won for the best cocktail bar, Paramount Park, best service, best music, best club, best music, best club restaurant. Kangaroo's Bar and restaurant in Frankfurt for the best bar and bar team by Frankfurt geht aus Magazine.
Marco also consulted for numerous bars and restaurants that won the best hotel stay in Frankfurt the Park Hotel, Forte Grand and the Le Meridian.
Marco opened a prestigious Club called Bar None in 1999 in Singapore and managed that club till December 2008, during his time it won numerous awards, best night spot of the year and nominated three times for this award, best watering hole by the very popular IS magazine and by the Singapore tourism Board.
Having won numerous championships and participated in over one hundred and sixty seven bar competition he his also the vice president of the Association of Bartenders and somiliers of Singapore.
Marco resigned as the MD Managing Director in early 2009 and is presently in Goa back to his roots, he has just started a company called camping in luxury (www.campinginluxury.com) and is the manufacture and distributor of luxury tents in India.
