Marcia Reynolds is an American executive coach, leadership trainer and author best known for her books Outsmart Your Brain and Wander Woman: How High-Achieving Women Find Contentment. She is a regular contributor to the Psychology Today and an occasional contributor to Huffington Post. Career Prior to becoming a coach, Reynolds designed the programs for a semiconductor manufacturing company facing bankruptcy. Working with the executive staff, she designed and coached the senior leaders in implementing the organizational change program that helped the company become the #1 stock market success in the United States when they went public in 1993. She also worked to design and implement employee and leadership development programs for a hospital system and a computer hardware corporation. She has since coached leaders in many industries and government agencies world-wide and taught classes in 34 countries. Additionally, Reynolds works with emerging countries to develop their coach training programs. She regularly visits China and Russia and has helped programs start in Kazakhstan and Kenya. Reynolds serves as Training Director for the Healthcare Coaching Institute. Her interviews and books have been quoted in Forbes, Today, Good Housekeeping, Harvard Business Review, CNN, Reader's Digest, Metro, Fast Company, The Globe and Mail, the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times, and she has appeared on ABC World News, National Public Radio, and Japan Nightly News. Personal She has a doctorate degree in Organizational Psychology from the Professional School of Psychology. She also holds a Masters of Art degree in Communications from San Francisco State University and a Masters of Education in Educational Technology from Arizona State University. Along with her degrees, Reynolds is a past global president and Master Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation and a Certified Speaking Professional from the National Speakers Association.
